Innovator Workshop at the U.S. Food Waste Summit

June 25, 2018 · Harvard Law School, Cambridge, MA

Do you lead an innovative business or nonprofit that aims to reduce U.S. food waste?

    If so, join us!

The Harvard Law School Food Law and Policy Clinic, Harvard Business School Business & Environment Initiative, and ReFED are cohosting a free one-day workshop to convene food waste entrepreneurs from across the world to network and learn from industry-leading businesses, funders, and policymakers. This workshop will immediately precede The U.S. Food Waste Summit.

    Workshop Participants Will:

    • Network with entrepreneurs while discussing emerging trends and barriers in the sector.
    • Connect with food businesses, investors, and foundations looking to support innovations.
    • Gain insights and provide input on policy reforms that could remove barriers to growth, and get answers to pressing legal and policy questions.

Acceptance to the Workshop will be based on application. Workshop attendees will receive free admission to the 2018 U.S. Food Waste Summit, to be held on June 26-27, also at Harvard Law School. Admission to the Innovator Workshop is free for all accepted applicants.

We welcome applications from all food waste innovators, which we define broadly to include nonprofits, businesses, and organizations that are innovating new food waste prevention, recovery, and recycling solutions.

We will review applications on a rolling basis beginning March 2018, and advise interested businesses to apply early as space is limited. Admitted organizations will be notified no later than April 2018. Please use this form to apply, and email any questions to [email protected].

The U.S. Food Waste Summit Innovator Workshop will be hosted by the Harvard Law School Food Law and Policy Clinic (FLPC), in partnership with ReFED and the Harvard Business School Business & Environment Initiative.
